Replacing the backup Exec with SQL Server Management Studio  will be the perfect fix for this issue, it will create a backup of all the files in SQL server to a disk to store in the database. This backup will help you to run these files on another Windows system backup utility. Follow these instructions which come from the home of windows support team to see through these Microsoft problems.

Guidelines

Go to the "Start" menu for accessing the “SQL Server Management Studio”.
Establish a link to the SQL Server.
Spread out the "Object Explorer" by clicking on it to unleash the server tree.
Unleashing the "Databases" tab will aid you choose backup components. Make decisions on the databases you want to create the backup and access the "File and filegroups" to choose them.
Go to the "Tasks" tab and release the window that holds the option "backup".
Now opt for either "Full" or "Differential" backup.
Now hit the "Database" and create "Backup component". But in case if you are opting for a partial backup then go for the "Files and filegroups" and choose a "Name" for the backup you are intending to be created.
Now go for "Disk" or "Tape" for representing the type of medium and hit the "Add"  button to create a destination path in the list. If you are intending to eliminate a path then hit the  "Remove" tab. When you are done, clicking on the "Contents" will allow you to view the contents stored in the destination you have made.
Opt for the option with the name "Select a Page" or "Options" and go for "Overwrite Media". Now you can go for any of the file from "Backup to the existing media set" and "Backup to a new media set, and erase all existing backup sets"
Keep a tab on the backup and check transaction plots.
Once you are done with the backup process, go to the “Start" tab yet again and choose a backup utility program.
It's better if you do the Windows Server Backup before carrying out these operations. These guidelines will help you see through the Microsoft problems like this from creeping into your SQL server.
